MeV astrophysics is a window that is largely unexplored due to technical difficulties. I will briefly describe several techniques being developed at IHEP and Tsinghua University dedicated for future astrophysical MeV detection, including double-sided silicon detectors, 3D position sensitive cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) detectors, and transition-edge sensors (TES) optimal for high-resolution spectroscopy. I will also introduce mission concepts based on these techniques.
