The prime mission of the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) has provided the first measurements of the polarization for blazar jets and active galactic nuceli in the X-ray band, observing thirteen blazars during its first two years of observations. With these data, a clear picture of the physical processes driving the X-ray emission and particle acceleration in blazars is emerging. This talk will review the results obtained with IXPE thus far, how they inform the larger questions of particle acceleration in blazar jets, and which further questions will require further observations.
